Unfortunately, it sometimes happens that a cruise cannot take place due to poor weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will do everything we can to inform you in a timely manner. It is therefore important that we have the correct details such as your telephone number and email address.
In case of cancellation by us, the cruise will be rescheduled to a different date or time in consultation with you. If you wish, the ticket will be refunded.
All sailings are subject to weather conditions; the skipper and the guide determine whether a cruise can take place.
A sailing ban applies in the following cases:
We use your telephone number and email address for sending tickets or reservations, communicating cancellations, or for questions about a cruise.
3.1. Regular sailings are cruises for which a reservation can be made by and for one or more persons. Reservations for regular cruises can be made for up to 32 persons. Reservations can be made via the internet or by telephone. Online reservations can be made up to 1 hour on the day prior to the sailing. Participation in a regular sailing is also possible by registering at the boat itself.
3.3. Passengers (including groups) must be present 30 minutes before a cruise. If you are running late, please contact us by telephone.
3.4. Pets are permitted on board provided they are kept on a leash.
3.5. By order of the Shipping Inspectorate, smoking is prohibited on board the cruise boat.
5.2. Weather conditions that impede or render the cruise impossible shall apply as a condition for dissolution for all cruises. Whether such weather conditions exist is at the discretion of the skipper on duty. At wind force above 8 Beaufort, no sailing will take place. This does not preclude the skipper from deciding not to sail at a wind force below 8 Beaufort. In all cases of force majeure, the skipper on duty may decide not to carry out or to modify the sailing. Force majeure is any circumstance that prevents shortcomings from being attributed. And in case of insufficient participation.
5.3. The skipper on duty is entitled to remove passengers from the vessel who behave inappropriately or are in an obvious state of intoxication.
5.4. The client must follow all instructions of JORPANAVIC B.V. or its employees promptly and without delay.
5.5. The skipper has the right to modify the sailing route when weather conditions or obstructions on the planned route require this.
6.1. For regular sailings, the boat will not wait; it departs at the scheduled time.
7.1. Group sailings must be paid on the day itself, unless otherwise agreed.
7.2. Regular sailings can be paid in advance, by card or in cash.
7.3. Payments must be made to the bank account of JORPANAVIC B.V. upon receipt of the invoice.
7.4. Amounts due must be paid in a single instalment.
7.6. Any collection costs incurred shall be borne by the client.
9.1. Cancellation can be made in writing, by telephone or by email, stating the date.
9.6. At the request of the client to sail on a different day or time: you can request up to 2 hours before departure to reschedule your cruise to a different date or time. This is subject to availability. You do this exclusively by telephone and we will discuss on which day and time you wish to sail.
11.1. JORPANAVIC B.V. is never liable for damage to and/or loss of property of the client. The client takes all their belongings on board entirely at their own risk.
11.2. JORPANAVIC B.V. is never liable for damage caused by death or injury of the client, except where caused by gross negligence or intent on the part of JORPANAVIC B.V.
11.3. JORPANAVIC B.V. is never liable for damage to persons or property of the client arising from boarding the departure jetty or the cruise boat. The client boards the departure jetty and/or the cruise boat entirely at their own risk.
11.4. JORPANAVIC B.V. is never liable for damage caused by delays at departure or during the cruise.
11.5. Insofar as JORPANAVIC B.V. is liable for any damage, it is only liable for direct damage and never for indirect (consequential) damage, and this liability is limited to the maximum amount covered by its insurance.
11.6. Insofar as JORPANAVIC B.V. is liable for any damage not covered by its insurance, this liability is limited to a maximum of the invoice amount.
11.7. JORPANAVIC B.V. is never liable for lost items of the client.
12.1. The client is liable for damage caused by the client to property of JORPANAVIC B.V. or third parties.
12.2. The client is liable for damage that the client or their luggage causes to JORPANAVIC B.V. or its employees.
12.3. All activities organised and carried out by JORPANAVIC B.V. take place entirely at the risk of the client.
12.4. The client indemnifies JORPANAVIC B.V. against damage claims by third parties.
13.1. JORPANAVIC B.V. is not liable for personal injury or damage of any kind, regardless of the cause, prior to, during or as a result of the sailing. The exception to this is the legal obligation to compensate for damages caused by demonstrable intent or gross negligence. The legal compensation is limited to a maximum of the amount paid.
13.2. Children are the responsibility of their parents/supervisors. Children aged 14 or younger must at all times be accompanied during the sailing.
13.3. If JORPANAVIC B.V. is unable to carry out the cruise as agreed due to force majeure (see article 5.2), JORPANAVIC B.V. is not obliged to provide any refund.
14.1. Any complaints must be submitted in writing (email) to JORPANAVIC B.V. no later than 2 days after the cruise.
14.2. Complaints made verbally or later than 2 days after the cruise will not be considered.
16.1. The client must at all times follow the instructions of the skipper and/or guide.
16.2. If instructions are not followed, the skipper on duty or employees of JORPANAVIC B.V. have the right to terminate the sailing. The client cannot claim any reduction of the amount stated in the agreement.
16.4. If more persons than previously indicated wish to join a group sailing, the skipper may refuse the surplus if the maximum permitted number of passengers on the boat is exceeded.
17.1. Found items can be handed in to the guide or skipper on duty.
17.2. JORPANAVIC B.V. will make every effort to trace the rightful owner of the found item. Found items will be kept by JORPANAVIC B.V. for a maximum of one month.
17.3. If the owner of a found item comes forward, they may collect the item from JORPANAVIC B.V. In all cases, the owner must provide identification.
18.1. These terms and conditions and all agreements concluded under these terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law.
18.2. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions and agreements concluded under these terms and conditions shall be exclusively submitted to the competent court in the district of Alkmaar.
You can purchase tickets at the counter or online via our website. Online you can pay using the payment method of your choice. At the counter you can pay by card with virtually all common debit cards or credit cards. Cash payment is also possible.

You do this exclusively by telephone and we will then discuss on which day and time you wish to sail. No rights can be derived from this. In the case of refunds due to cancellation by the guest, administration costs will be charged. See also article 9 of the terms and conditions.
